Videos of the Month - January 2021
It may have been a very tough way to begin a new year, but we picked up where we left off, featuring lots of outstanding music videos.
January saw some major music video artists release some of their strongest visual work in a while - including Lana Del Rey, working with BRTHR, and FKA twigs, co-directing with Emmanuel Adjei.
There were some new grime videos that confirmed they are the event videos of the modern era - for Ghetts and Stormzy, slowthai and ASAP Rocky, and at the end of the month, Fredo and Dave.
It also saw the latest collaborations of upcoming artists and directors, like Arlo Parks with Molly Burdett, King Princess with Quinn Wilson, TV Priest with Joe Wheatley. And a living legend, Sophie Muller, back with Birdy.
Lots to enjoy, to hopefully keep the blues at bay...
