Sian Adler directs a dazzling&nbsp;promo for&nbsp;Mali Hâf.Shwsh! was produced by Pink Chillies,&nbsp;a new collective of freelances creatives from marginalised genders working in film &amp; music in Wales.The narrative sees Mali&nbsp;auditioning to be a 'woman' as the track urges its listeners to be themselves in the worlds of Reality TV and social media.&nbsp;Switching between a dance rehearsal room and an effervescent stage set, the concept visualises the push-pull nature of striving for your dreams, and&nbsp;how we have to navigate the bombardment of media advice, designed to create dissatisfaction in our lives.&nbsp;The video for Shwsh was shot on location in&nbsp;Blackwood Miners Institute and the Savoy Theatre, Tonyrefail.

In the video for bilingual West Wales experimental pop duo Rogue Jones' Off By One, a personal computer comes to life to help Stevie, it's owner, deal with the issues of an 'off by one' error -&nbsp;eventually resorting to summoning a version of Stevie from the future to assist.Directed by the band's&nbsp;Ynyr Morgan Ifan, vocalist&nbsp;Bethan Mai plays the unusually helpful PC, and live bandmember&nbsp;Harri Rees as Stevie. The video also features actor Ioan Hefin, known for his roles in&nbsp;Gangs Of London and&nbsp;Miss Perigrine’s Home for Peculiar Children,&nbsp;as Stevie of the future.&nbsp;Hefin also demonstrates his skills as a trumpet player on two tracks of the band's latest album&nbsp;Dos Bebés.[imgtoken data:1]“An ‘Off By One’ error is an error that is made in computing which stems from failure to specify whether the sequence should start at 0 or 1," explain Rogue Jones.&nbsp;"Do you count the fenceposts or the gaps between fenceposts? Anyway, we liked the thought of something clinical and mathematical being capable of being undone by something so simple so that’s where the song came from."The video sticks quite closely to the narrative of the song and shows the Stevie referred to in the lyrics suffering the effects of an Off By One error."Shot on location in Pen-bre, Carmarthenshire over the course of a day - less the hour or so that Ynyr and Bethan had to disappear to a parent’s evening&nbsp;- it is a quirky comic fantasy that reflects the character of the music and packee with West Walian charm.&nbsp;&nbsp;
