Paul Cooke directs a dynamic promo for Interlaker - the new project from&nbsp;former Lonely the Brave singer Dave Jakes.In the video for The Hunger, Dave and guitarist Jack Wrench perform alongside&nbsp;ballet dancers, a ribbon gymnast and a contemporary dancer.&nbsp;The lush cinematic world brings the wistful lyrics to life, by juxtaposing the low-key performance vibes with the vibrant movement and colour around them.&nbsp;Set against a blank industrial setting, the flurry of activity brings life to the environment, representing a new beginning in a world that is uprooted by change in every moment.&nbsp;It's a welcome return to Dave Jakes's&nbsp;brand of rock, joined by guitarist&nbsp;Jack Wrench in what promises to be the start of something very special.

Paul Cooke frames metalcore band Ithaca in a 1970s TV show, presented by comedian Ed Gamble - the first hint that there will be high jinx ahead.&nbsp;The video for Fluorescent, subverts the classic TV performance with glitching bandmembers, red balaclavas and a bucketload of blood - and singer&nbsp;Djamila's funeral.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"On the back of the success of Ithaca's second record&nbsp;They Fear Us&nbsp;- Kerrang's #2 album of 2022... -&nbsp;the idea for the Fluorescent video was to lean heavily into the aesthetic of the album artwork," says Cooke."We wanted to achieve a 70s texture and look, without it being pastiche or ironic - aiming for Old Grey Whistle Test meets Dario Argento."[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]
