Madness 'Mr. Apples' by Jim Canty

Madness 'Mr. Apples' by Jim Canty

Jim Canty's video for Madness' first single in three years tells the story of a complex and hypocritical protagonist: the eponymous Mr. Apples.

Using cool set design, some almost Vaudevillian visual effects, and with band sax player Lee Thompson playing the role of the blustering antihero, as told through a conversation between him and Suggs as his sceptical psychoanalyst.

Never a band to take themselves too seriously, the video mixes some great imagery with some very tongue-in-cheek performances from all involved.
