Jonjo Lowe gets creative with a socially-distanced greenscreen video for The Big Moon's Why. Shot in the tail-end of lockdown, emerging director Lowe worked with animator Jay Darlington on a series of surreal vignettes, depicting a day at the beach with an otherwordly twist.Using green paint and textures to hide limbs, clothing and at points entire people, the lo-fi, DIY style of the project exudes a charming and silly vibe. Matching the idiosyncratic concept, the band's performance is mesmerising and completely engaging, especially when it ventures into full, Dali-esque surrealism.
