Philip Andelman has directed this hilarious docu-style rock band parody for Joywave's track Destruction. It all starts with an audition for a new band member, which is blown out of the water when an MP3 player takes the stage. After convincing the manager it's a good idea to tour with the device ("rehearsals have been really awesome, he nails all his parts the first time") they experience a meteoric rise to fame, playing sell-out shows, partying with groupies, and getting featured on the cover of 'Spine' and 'Billbored' magazines. But then, the MP3 goes rogue diva, locking the band out of the recording studio and leaving them in the dirt. The video ends with the most indespensable rock and roll cliche however, when the little device dies of an overdose a year later.
