Katharina Hingst directs a terrific promo for German actress and singer LARY- presenting a poetic insight into the invisible struggle against one’s better judgment, set in a spotlit boxing ring.  

In the video for Junge we follow LARY into the boxing ring as she navigates between an idealised notion of love and the harsh reality of a broken relationship, where candlelit dinners have turned romance into regret, and lovers into raging bulls.

Boasting a striking monochromatic palette, the video has a stylish, evocative aesthetic, which is elevated by the multi-format use of video and still image. It's a bold, dreamlike vision which perfectly suits the enigmatic track.
