Dave 'Verdansk' by Dave & Nathan James Tettey
Dave and long-time collaborator Nathan James Tettey reunite to bring a warzone-themed narrative for the UK rapper's Verdansk.
The video sees Dave and his peers travel through a journey sparked by conflict. Scenes unfold between a recon room, the visually arresting breach and clear and finally, the extraction, as it echoes the different levels of a video game.
Shot over two days at Nu Boyana Studios in Sofia, the video for Verdansk is bristling with tension and cinematic style, brought together by Dave's unmistakeable charisma. Teamed with VFX from Untold Studios and sound design via Echolab, the visual becomes more than just a music video and enters the world of film whilst providing an exciting experience for gamers.
“This was probably the most challenging video I’ve ever made, but also maybe the best one," says Nathan James Tettey. "I’m glad we decided to do it in Bulgaria as I think the location helped us bring the narrative to life in an interesting way.
"I loved working with Dave as always. It’s been great watching him turn into a man who’s also a bit of a visionary genius.”

Mike Heath has been appointed executive producer at Burning Reel, with the production company's former EP Cal Gordon now taking on the new role of head of production.
Nathan James Tettey's latest collab with Dave has the precocious grime sensation and his pal Fredo living it large in the Home Counties - with animals.
Dave highlights the highs and the lows, the beauty and the bad, the dreaded and the familiar of what it means to be black in this day and age.
After working far too hard for very little reward in their convenience store video for 100ms, Dave and Dir. Lx collaborate once more. And this time, they're going global.
