Francis Wallis explores the idea of an interconnected society, in his promo for the enigmatic Spencer Ramsay. 

Intermixing retrofuturistic graphics and high-tech themes, the anachronistic video for Love With You follows a scientist who develops an artificial intelligence, and has to teach her what it means to be alive. 

Hallucinogenic patterns and luminescent tattoos add a psychedelic streak to the concept, allowing viewers to experience the otherworldly circumstances the artificial intelligence finds herself in.

I loved the idea of bringing a bit of that future-retro feel to the screen.

"This is one of those instances where the single's artwork acted as the jumping off point for where I knew I wanted to take this video both in terms of narrative and visual aesthetic.

"I loved the idea of bringing a bit of that future-retro feel to the screen, taking inspiration from 70s sci-fi art, alongside the work of Hijame Sorayama and a touch of Westworld to bring this video to life.

"There’s a collective conscience in our world today that will continue to battle with one of the key themes within this video - whether artificial intelligence will ever cross over to emotional intelligence and what that means going forward.

"Finding strong colour palettes was always key and it was great working with David Wright (DOP) and the rest of the collective team in bringing this vision to life."
