Lukas Plöchl's video for Paenda is loosely based on the narrative of the Biblical tale of Salome, as re-told by Oscar Wilde - with the Austrian pop singer and producer playing each character herself - the king, Salome, and John the Baptist.

With fresh, but royal outfits, expressive make-up and modern hair-styles, the narrative is being transferred to a place in between past and present, show and tell, male and female.
