Mykki Blanco 'Free Ride' by Hannah Rosselin
Two families come together to celebrate the christening of its newest member, in Hannah Rosselin's brilliant promo for Mykki Blanco.
Representing an amalgamation of Blanco's dreams of a successful personal and professional life, the video celebrates the idea of family and togetherness - an increasingly poignant theme given our last year of isolation.
Sometimes hectic, at times completely absurd - with a matriarchal figure emptying her bladder on the street as the opening image - the video's main focus is on the freedom to be unabashedly ourselves.
Shot in Paris, DoP Cesar Decharme leans in to the concept's celebratory energy, using handheld camerawork and clever transitions to match the magical vibes.
