The Horrors 'Lout' by Jordan Hemingway
Jordan Hemingway directs a very creepy short film for The Horrors' new single Lout.
Starring acclaimed makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench, the short but sweet concept depicts Ffrench's transformation into a convulsing, undead state, reminiscent of zombie film 28 Days Later.
Presented without any kind of narrative or structure, the video is a taste of what to expect from the upcoming EP, and a rather fascinating piece of standalone content.
And there are echoes of Chris Cunningham's 2006 video for the band's Sheena Is A Parasite, featuring Samantha Morton undergoing a similarly terrifying transformation.
