Katie Mcdowell directs a sublime animated promo for Austin-based rockers Rickshaw Billie's Burger Patrol.
The video tell the story of the band coming back to earth in their burger ship, as they die and reenter the atmosphere.
Infusing the oddball concept with a psychedelic animation style, the piece was shot on video and rotoscoped over 1500+ frames. The 3D elements, including the Burger Ship and Burger Planet were made in Blender.
Completely absurd and out of this world - literally - the video is a true labour of love, and entertaining from the first frame to the last.
