LÉON 'Seventeen' by Bjarke Underbjerg
Bjarke Underbjerg rounds off a trilogy of videos for Swedish artist LÉON, with the introspective promo for Seventeen.
Through the reunification of the indie pop star and her first love, we see the different ways in which posing for a camera and posing for a person intertwines - the constant switch between vulnerability and immovability. In short it's like the age old question: who are we through the eyes of another?
DoP Adam Jandrup carries over the same cinematic, emotive cinematography from the previous two promos, with an added energy and flair towards the crescendo of the concept.
Beautiful work and a striking way to end a special series of videos.
