Che Lingo and Kojey Radical dive into an exploration of masculinity and black love in Connor O'Hara's video for Dark Days.

The concept explores a sanctuary in the form of a house which protects the protagonist - played by Mike Boateng - from the dangers outside.

Shot on 16mm by DoP Luke C Harper, there is a tenderness to the video through the use of soft lighting, and by depicting both Che and Kojey in deep discussions and therapy sessions with each other.

The poignant, emotional vibes are mirrored by the anachronistic aesthetic, representing the fact that this concept can apply to anyone, anywhere. We all have dark days, and it's our closest friends and family who pull us through...
