Duchess 'Blame' by Ruby & Boya
Ruby & Boya directs a new visual for Duchess, taking the format of an on-screen collection of different social media and video-chat windows.
The concept explores the ups and downs of a modern long-distance relationship, which in this case has the pandemic to blame instead of the physical space between them.
It's authentic and engaging, with Ruby & Boya, who also devised the VFX, doing a great job of interweaving social media iconography with simple but well-acted performances.
