In the awe-inspiring animated video, we see our protagonist leave his bedroom and explore a kaleidoscope of beautiful worlds, textures and colour, as he defies gravity and the universe arounds him shifts.

It's a subtle move into more realistic CGI for Alden Volney, who creates a sublime and thought-provoking experience to accompany the Air founder's latest soundscape.

For The Border I wanted to explore the idea of freeing yourself from all the clutter and the noise, both physical and emotional. It’s about travel. Being hundreds of kilometers away from home and the identity crisis inducing realization that you’re letting the stuff you hoard define you. It’s about strange, exciting new frontiers and the absolute importance of having a significant other to explore them with.
