David Helman's video for Michael Kiwanuka is a delirious and beautiful film about bonding and transformation.

Starring Keith Stanfield (of Get Out, Straight Outta Compton, and Atlanta fame), the video depicts two young men in the suburbs as they beckon in a cleansing storm. The world seems lonely, as if these two only have each other. A great tenderness is given to the performances, something only underlined by the intimate, voyeuristic nature of the cinematography.

On the face of it, this video is merely an aimless drive around an empty town, but on subsequent views the poetry between the scenes becomes more apparent.
