At a time when music artists and directors appear to have moved away from anti-establishment, consumer-culture satire, Conor Oberst's American punk-outfit Desaparecidos comes out with this refreshingly old-school, EBN-style video collage for their track City On The Hill, created by Rob Soucy, who also recently co-directed Azealia Banks's interactive video for Wallace

The video presents a barrage of news footage, movie and advertising clips from the 1980s, combined with politicised images of slaughterhouses, caged animals, anorexia, sweatshops in the developing world... making for a caustic final product.
