Featuring guest vocalist Caroline Polachek from Brooklyn duo Chairlift, Eric Epstein's promo for Unhold by The xx collaborators Delorean, sees the singer negotiate her way around bluestone wall maze - shot at the Opus 40 sculpture park in New York State - intercut with a band performance in a minimal stark setting adorned with a Escher-like metal structure.

But being the VFX whizz that he is, Eric has added an intriguing 3D effect, to bend and distort objects as they shift around a fixed axis...

“We were looking for an outdoor location to contrast with the studio, with dimensions to make use of the effect we were using.

“The moving footage is resolved to a flat plane, so that everything in relief from that surface skews and stretches.”
