Austra ‘Home’ by That Go

Promonews - 15th May 2013

A compelling video for Austra’s Home by That Go – that’s Noel Paul and Stefan Moore – which focusses on the face of frontwoman Katie Stelmanis, as she is joined and assisted by friends and bandmates, pre-show. Shot in New York on 35mm film, this has an intimacy that’s been achieved in fairly ingenious fashion, as Noel and Stefan explain.

To that end we not only kept the format simple, but we also put the camera behind a 2-way mirror so the band couldn’t see it. Whenever someone is looking at the camera they’re only seeing their own reflection and the environment behind them.”
