As London 2012 draws to its fabulous climax, and China and GB sit at the top of the medals table (currently first and third), Paris Zarcilla's video for Major Look's Bass Generation, shot a month or so ago, is looking quite prescient. Well, that is if food fighting were an Olympic sport... "In a nutshell it's a Britain vs China in an Olympic game of food fighting which just happens to have some unintentional social/global commentary," explains Paris. "There's a whole bunch of 90's cultural references to cartoons and videos, but the main intention was to just have some fun. We had scheduled a whole load of extras, none of which turned up - so everyone you see in the crowd are from the crew. From a narrative point of view, hopefully, there's a comedic element to it with how little people there are." Indeed, its loads of fun - almost as much fun as watching Mo Farah storming home in the 10,000 metres. And another gold medal in the bag...
