"The video for Stingin' Belle was born out of footage for a bigger project, with none of the footage shot with a promo in mind," explains Sam. "The main challenge was creating something that was engaging and kept pace despite having no storyline or sync. The majority was shot over a month in LA on the Canon C300, with the live elements coming from Biffy's headline performance at Rockness. "Without a doubt the edit had to be approached from a different angle due to the sheer amount of footage we had to get through, coupled with a tight delivery schedule. It was very much a collaborative effort between myself, Neil [Anderson], Simon [Bryant] and Martin [Craswell] and what we've ended up with is an exciting and vibrant portrait of a very true rock and roll band set against a great track."
