Toddler T’s Take It Back by Charles Robins & Joe Alexander

David Knight - 3rd May 2011

"There's a nostalgic vibe to the tune and we wanted to make something that acknowledged the mid 90s heyday of the pirates, and captured the good time, summer vibes of the track," explain Charles and Joe. "But we also wanted to make sure that we got across a suggestion of the gritty reality of what was a very underground culture at the time. "Pirate radio stations in the jungle/garage days were high security, high risk operations, but we didn't want it to get too dark, so our radio station has a naivity and innocence to it, the characters that run it are all young and the legality and repercussions of their actions aren't even a thought. "We were spoilt in that we managed to talk everyone into shooting for two days, which was a real luxury, and the crew and the cast were all brilliant in the face of two underpaid, long days. We can't thank everyone enough." http://www.youtube.com/watchv=tAqENlABNQk
