Luke Vibert aka Wagon Christ is back with a new album Toomorrow, including this single Chunkothy, and back working with one of the team from Fizzy Eye who created the classic vids for Receiver and Shadows back in the day.

Celyn Brazier has now gone back to basics for the video for Chunkothy and it's mesmerizingly lovely. The animation of gently transforming illustrations was created in Photoshop, with most sequences on one layer. "Celyn basically wanted to make an animation as close to something printed as possible, in line and colour," says producer Beccy McCray. "His initial inspiration was the old-fashioned see-through lightbulbs but mostly he just hand-drew and animated as many random patterns and as much weird stuff as he could possibly make in six weeks." So look out for helicopters in bubbles, and Mexican cats...
