David Lynch’s I Know by Sam Pilling, Chris Lee & Paul Storrie
Jimmy Brown - 30th Jan 2011
The beautiful cinematic treat that is the promo to David Lynch's (yes, THAT one) I Know was (amazingly) made for a budget of £450 as part of the genero.tv competition. Exploring such themes as lust, desire and obsession the video was filmed on a Canon 7D over two days in London.

Exploring such themes as lust, desire and obsession the video was filmed on a Canon 7D over two days in London. "Shot mainly in my flat and around Shoreditch with a quick trip to our old university toilets for a few scenes" explains Sam Pilling. "Due to the budget (or lack of it) we had to get creative with our filming techniques - using a treadmill for the tracking shots and setting up a tripod on the back seat of Paul's Dad's hatchback for the car park scenes... "Many thanks to Esteban Gitton and Francoise Gouliardon (of Beacoup films) - without the use of their lighting and equipment we would have been up the spout! Thanks also to Pulse Films for the camera hire. Oh and to Chris's mum for allowing us to take her toilet and ruin the treadmill.?? "Shot in the second week of December the weather was obviously freezing! So many thanks to the actors for pushing through and sticking it out till the bitter end. The time was so tight, we were still filming Daniel as we drove him to Hoxton station to get the last train. ha!".
