Alasdair Brotherston and Jock Mooney's most popular and successful video thus far has undoubtedly been for Tom Fun Orchestra's Bottom Of The River - charming, visually arresting, old-fashioned looking animation with an off-kilter twist. They're back in that vein with the video for Clinic's Bubblegum: Alasdair + Jock's feline explorer takes to the air by means of a huge balloon of bubblegum. Floating through a bizarre, beautiful and balmy landscape she passes fields of exuberantly dancing popcorn, marching party poppers and giant Knickerbocker glories, only pausing for a bit of retail therapy before reaching her ultimate climax in space.
