Hecq Vs Exillion’s Spheres Of Fury by Tim Brown & Christopher Hewitt

David Knight - 30th Oct 2009

It was shot over one of those unseasonably warm October weekends in the wilds of Hackney on a D7 with the excellent Dan Trapp and a bunch of willing combatants, and the results are superb. Eat your heart out Oliver Stone, Stanley Kubrick, Terrence Mallick, etc, etc. Hecq Vs Exillion
Spheres Of Fury
Directed: Tim Brown & Christopher Hewitt
Produced: Matthew Mager
DoP: Daniel Trapp
Assistant DoP: Luke Taylor
Art Direction/Styling: Tim Brown & Ana Maria Pasescu Stewart
Watch: Quicktime movie Tim Brown on the making of the video for Hecq Vs Exillion's Spheres Of Fury "The initial idea for the Hecq video was born from a mutual love of 80's war films. The bravado and attitude that pours from these movies is nothing but a treat to watch, our modern remake aims to capture some of those magical moments but with a slightly comical, modern stance. "Hats off to Hecq for supplying such a moody, fast paced track. It allowed us to build tension between the two teams, and after releasing the two triggers of the flag and smoke we were set up nicely for an epic battle scene. "Special thanks has to go to Dan Trapp and all the cast members for their efforts on the day. They really were champion for their efforts, especially when filming a water fight in the middle of October."
