A nighttime accident sets off an unusual chain of events in&nbsp;Grandmas' vision for Larkins' Are We Having Any Fun Yet?&nbsp;Having been taken out by a car, frontman Josh Noble stumbles through a maze of underpasses, streets and traffic, crossing paths with a series of enigmatic strangers&nbsp;who look just as out of place as he does.&nbsp;Each character has an unusually calm demeanour&nbsp;and a fascination with Noble, which questions&nbsp;whether this is just a really unlucky night, or a visualisation of him crossing the life/death boundary following the accident.&nbsp;Beautifully shot by DoP Harry Wheeler, the heavy grain and vibrant colour palette creates a strangely hyperrealist aesthetic, punctuated by moments of surrealism and introspection.&nbsp;

Jocelyn Anquetil's video for King Krule, set on the overcast banks of the River Thames, was inspired by&nbsp;the artist otherwise known as Archy Marshall’s personal story of of loneliness and isolation.Archy finds himself in various locations and scenarios, all of which reflect his mentality from being boxed in by a group of eclectic individuals. He becomes&nbsp;stuck inside a mirrored room,&nbsp;representing his state of mind and the chaos of the track. It&nbsp;concludes with Archy being able to emerge from his dark place, with wife and new baby.

Baxter Dury has reached the point of no return in Tom Haines'&nbsp;video for I'm Not Your Dog.Following the sleazy performance and sickly aesthetic of their previous collaboration on <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2019/11/21/baxter-dury-slumlord-tom-haines/62018" target="_blank">Slumlord</a>, there is considerably less grit and grime this time around. Instead we see Dury in a dramatic&nbsp;portrayal of a man in deep trouble, on the boardwalk of a city resort: it could&nbsp;pass for Miami, but is in fact a&nbsp;strip of Benidorm on a January morning,&nbsp;captured by Haines and DoP Steve Annis in a single take. &nbsp;Dury has a proper amount of acting to do in this video, but he delivers with an air of confidence and the cheeky humour that permeates both his music and persona. The juxtaposition of the dreamy beach location, and a man seemingly dying from a critical wound is ironic and dark, but it's a great fit for the artist and his alternative approach to music.&nbsp;

Lochlainn McKenna (aka&nbsp;Locky), has created a charming&nbsp;and poignant sort of unrequited&nbsp;love for Keane,&nbsp;which sees&nbsp;the band take on the roles of teachers judging the school’s singing competition, as a group of ‘mini Keanes’ play the house band.The band each take on a different role: Tom Chaplin as the clumsy PE Teacher, pianist Tim Rice-Oxley as the utterly disinterested and too cool for school History Teacher, drummer Richard Hughes as the confused and weary Maths Teacher who can’t keep up, and bassist Jesse Quin as the eccentric, enthusiastic Arts Teacher.The mixture of HD and Mini-DV footage is nostalgic and reminiscent of the early 00's, and the simple DIY style set design is a throwback to cheesy school talent shows (that I'm sure we were all forced to participate in as kids).&nbsp;Bassist Jesse Quin tells us,&nbsp;“our hope was that we’d come up with a light-hearted and fun, but emotionally compelling look at the idea of loving maybe a little too much.” He continues “though it may fall apart, we can find some solace in the memories of what was – “Nothing can take that away from me.”'&nbsp;

The video for Ottolenghi is a hard act to follow, but Louis Bhose puts his own marvellous spin on the world of Loyle Carner in the new video for You Don&#39;t Know.&nbsp;He does a great job&nbsp;- with help from the rapper&#39;s mum.As Loyle Carner&#39;s close relationship with his mother Jean Coyle-Larner is well known, his fans will instantly relate to this comedic scenario, where Loyle tries to keep tabs on his mum on various dates, occupying every job going down at her favourite restaurant, from sommelier to CCTV security to cab driver.Loyle mainly plays a melancholy cocktail barman, in a decent double act with his guest rapper Rebel Kleff. But it turns out that Jean has real star quality too. If you squint, there&#39;s even a passing resemblance to ubiquitous screen star Olivia Colman.And it reaches a peak of charm with Jean having dinner and a lovely chat with none other than poet and national treasure Benjamin Zephaniah.&nbsp;A great result for everybody.&nbsp;&nbsp;
