Max McLachlan directs a widowed grandfather clock,&nbsp;grieving the loss of his wife, in this bizarre, funky video for&nbsp;fast-rising Lime Garden.Featuring clockfaced dancers, plenty of head bobbing&nbsp;and the band trapped inside picture frames, the video is a spiral of funny, strange imagery.All shot inside an outdated, 1960's fitted home, the video contrasts the upbeat groove of the song with slow zooms and reflective, albeit peculiar, moments. Just as the song does, the video finds a unique balance between something genuine and playful (with strong dancibility).[imgtoken data:1]The visuals are clearly inspired by the lyrical content and theme of time passing/ageing, which singer Chloe Howard describes as being “written at a time when we were feeling trapped in the cycle of our everyday lives. We wanted to capture that sense of being caught in a continuous loop where emotions sometimes lead us to a dark and frantic mindset.”Very likely to be the oddest video you watch today. Absently singing as she bakes, her song suddenly starts to grow a small, bright red-eyed puppet, who&nbsp;blossoms into a moss-covered character who follows her dancing step-by-step.Shot in a soft, hazy manner, the nostalgic aesthetic is embellished by the rich production design and playful choreography,&nbsp;whilst the puppetry and in-camera effects elevate the whimiscal visuals.

Max McLachlan directs a wild, winding promo for Bingo Fury's new track.Boiling over with unabashed chaos, the video for Happy Snake&nbsp;starts with the artist&nbsp;trapped in a dark void, sat alone. However, as soon as Bingo's pen hits the page, we are treated to a wave of mystifying images following a snake-like young man, who slithers towards a siren in flamingo-pink, only&nbsp;to be lured in and hunted by the&nbsp;stomping silhouette of a cowboy/girl.Shot in intense black and white - with contrasting bursts of colour -&nbsp;the video is both a treat for the eyes and a shock to the system. Eagle-eyed fans of Drag Race might recognise the Heart Look by designer Bruna Ignatowska, previously worn by Bimini Bon Boulash and artists such as Rina Sawayama and Josie Man.Totally and utterly surreal (in the best way), the video falls somewhere between a fever dream and a forgotten memory, and is an excellent visual accompaniment to the track.[imgtoken data:1]"Weirdly the visuals for Happy Snake all came quite naturally," says&nbsp;McLachlan about the conception of&nbsp;the video.&nbsp; "When I heard that opening rattle, paired with that funk-riddle bassline, I knew we had to have someone genuinely slither to the beat."I have known Bruna for a while and have been hunting for the project to put her designs in, and same goes for my friend October [who features in the video]. The connecting dots formed themselves, and we were lucky enough to put together a fantastic team to bring this to life."

Max Mclachlan directs an angsty promo for newcomer Bingo Fury.&nbsp;Starting in a&nbsp;moody, dissheveled apartment, the video shows the artist's&nbsp;world morphing slowly,&nbsp; building to a disconcerting climax of rambling piano notes, swinging chandeliers and old men dancing.&nbsp;The video works in tandem with the neo-noir laced ballad to&nbsp;create a dreamlike aesthetic that is&nbsp;extravagant and surreal in equal doses.&nbsp;“From the first second of hearing the track, the dusty world Bingo inhabits leapt out to me visually," notes Max Mclachlan. "He sounded at his most comfortable hunched over a piano in a small, dank apartment. But just as the music suddenly yanks, pushes and pulls Bingo along with it, I wanted his world to fall out from underneath him."As the lyrics and tone of the song repaint Bingo’s west country hometown through a romanticised, neo-noir prism, we show him chasing fragments of the world his character has been ripped out of, while reality creeps around him.”
