Taz Tron Delix, one of the most acclaimed and garlanded British directors working in music videos, has signed to KODE for UK represention for promos and commercials. He will be repped for music videos by Mouthpiece.Delix's music video credits include acclaimed work for&nbsp;Stormzy, Joy Crookes and Camelphat&nbsp;that has gained multiple award nominations and wins. Last year he directed videos for J Hus (It's Crazy) and Calvin Harris (Miracle) that spearheaded their respective new album campaigns. His honours include&nbsp;taking Gold at the Creative Circle Awards for Best Music Video for Positive Change.&nbsp;Since his early work for the likes of Oscar&nbsp;Worldpeace, Cartae and Declan McKenna, Delix has been driven by building new worlds through motion, speed, texture and colour, manipulating&nbsp;his creations into hyperextensions of reality. “My work generally falls into a&nbsp;world of surrealism," he says. "When following the unknown, boundless possibilities of fantasy and&nbsp;imagination can appear, whilst still being rooted in some kind of truth.”&nbsp;With empowering the viewer at the heart of his imagery, in 2020 Taz released the fully animated&nbsp;Superheroes video with Stormzy&nbsp;against a backdrop of the BLM movement, capturing&nbsp;that pivotal&nbsp;moment in history and celebrated black excellence. “I always want to represent the diversity I see and live amongst, within my work," he adds. Jacob Erland, one of the most exciting new directors working in British music videos -&nbsp;most recently directing the Rachel Chinouriri video for Never Need Me featuring Florence Pugh -&nbsp;has now signed to Park Pictures in London for music videos and commercials.Erland is a director and DoP who started out&nbsp;shooting skate videos and evolved his signature style through a prolific long-term collaboration with London brand Palace.&nbsp;His dynamic vision as a cinematographer has evolved into a strong directorial voice, leading him to work with numerous brands&nbsp;including&nbsp;Samsung, On, Rapha, Dior, Tommy Jeans, Salomon, Vans, Louis Vuitton, and John Paul Gaultier.Erland has also directed&nbsp;and shot several acclaimed videos in the past year or so, for the likes of Shygirl, Rachel Chinouriri and Beabadoobee. His video for Beabadoobee's Glue Song was nominated at the UKMVAs last year. That also combined animation and live action but this one takes things to a different&nbsp;level.&nbsp;Diving full-speed into Uncanny Calley territory, the video blends nostalgic, almost charming claymation craft with the artist's real performances&nbsp;which creates an unsettling yet enthralling atmosphere.&nbsp;Brown's and Bruiser's faces are composited onto their figurine bodies, and their lipsync given the appearance of being animated with judicious frame-cutting.&nbsp;While the innovative technique is established, and the focus stays on the rappers' performances, a familiar story of criminal activity&nbsp;unfolds around them.[imgtoken data:2]The drama of a small time robbery in Detroit is familiar - and low on thrills. Child's painstaking stop motion modelling and&nbsp;animation emphasises the grim reality, rather than the glamour, of the heist. All the better to reflect Brown and Wolf's depiction of their hometown.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A brilliant collaboration between the directors and the artists, with a thought-provoking message.&nbsp;
