Mar del Corral, director of acclaimed music videos, including the Ciclope-honoured video for Surma's For Hemma, and brand work for Adidas, Lancôme, Dove, Braun, Pantene and Freda, has joined the roster at Spindle for UK representation for commercial and music projects.

Born in the Caribbean, raised in Spain and graduating the London Metropolitan University with a degree in Fine Arts, del Corrall is a globetrotter with a love for visual imagery. She is also informed by her background as an actor, with a passion for honest storytelling and a desire to use her films as a platform for positive change. She champions inclusivity and empowerment, inspiring talent to boldly shine on screen through authentic, impactful performances.

Her latest work for Adidas x Common Goal is a charity-focused campaign that drives social change for underserved communities. It follows real children and highlights how important community programs are to empower girls in football. This project follows a previous Adidas global campaign for the UEFA Women’s Champions League, where she captured the real-life bond between football legend Alessandro del Piero and his daughter Dorothea.

Alongside various campaigns for beauty brands including Lancôme, Dove, Braun & Pantene, Mar del Corral has also created a powerful spot for Freda in support of Freda’s inclusive period range. In Cycle we meet three LGBTQ+ advocates, discussing how gender inclusive language can make a big impact for people feeling safe and accepted in the world. The film was recognised in the Shiny Awards winners list amongst other industry acclaim.

Her music videos are equally impactful. Most notably, Surma's For Hemma integrates dynamic camera work into electric choreography, resulting in an emotional, intense experience that received a Vimeo Staff Pick and Ciclope award.
