Post production studio Studio RM is partnering with the UK Music Video Awards for the second year running, and for the first time will be sponsoring the prestigious award for Best Colour Grading In A Video at this year's UKMVAs.

Studio RM is a post-production studio specialising in colour grading and finishing for film, print and digital, that was founded by Robert Moore in 2010. The company offers a high-end, artistic and curated approach, partnering artists with teams across bases in London and New York. Studio RM has collaborated with directors and artists including The XX, Charlotte Lawrence, Sam Smith and Biffy Clyro.

This year Studio RM’s senior colourist Jamie Noble has been nominated for best colour grading across the ACIP Awards, Creative Circle and Berlin Commercial awards for his work on Calvin Klein x Palace Skateboards' CK1 Palace and Hugo Boss's Watches.

The announcement of Studio RM's sponsorship of the Best Colour Grading award was made as the first round of the judging process for many of the awards at this year's UKMVAs moves into its final week. Jury Members must complete their judging on categories for Best Video by music genre, Live Video and all Technical Achievement categories - including Best Colour Grading - by 5pm (BST) on September 7th. Judging has also now begun for the Individual and Company awards.

Panels will begin to meet for final judging on most categories for this year's UKMVAs on Monday, September 12th. The announcement of nominations for this year's awards will take place at the UKMVAs nomination party - returning after a two year absence - in late September. The UK Music Video Awards ceremony will take place for the first time at Magazine London, near the O2 Arena in London, on Thursday, October 27th 2022.
