The new episode of The Promonews Podcast: Talking Music Videos - our series of conversations with creatives in the music video industry - is out today, with DoP Rik Burnell talking about his work in the medium and career in cinematography so far.

Burnell is a DoP, represented by Loop Talent for music videos, commercials and longform, responsible for outstanding work on videos in the past couple of years for the likes of Willie J Healey, Dry Cleaning, Samm Henshaw and TV Priest.

In this episode, he tells Promonews's David Knight and Rob Ulitski about his unconventional route to a career in cinematography through working in the lighting department, and his inventive methods in some of his standout work.

This is the second episode of the second series of the The Promonews Podcast: Talking Music Videos, in association with Loop Talent, in which the hosts talk to people making a significant impact in music video production right now. The first episode of the new series featured director Sophia Ray and producer Mayling Wong, and was released earlier this month.
