There’s just over four days left from today (August 6th) to enter work into the UK Music Video Awards 2021 via the UKMVAs website - in time for the final deadline of midnight, BST next Tuesday, August 10th 2021. 

This includes the now-expanded range of Technical Achievement awards which will honour the creativity and technical prowess of individuals working on a specific music video, celebrating the art and craft on show in specific departments. With two new categories joining the traditional set of awards in this section, there are 10 Technical Achievement awards at this year's UKMVAs. Here are the categories: 

Best Animation in a Video

Best Cinematography in a Video

Best Choreography in a Video

Best Colour Grade in a Video 

Best Editing in a Video

Best Hair & Make-Up in a Video *NEW*

Best Performance in a Video *NEW*

Best Production Design in a Video

Best Styling in a Video

Best Visual Effects in a Video

Each entered video must have been completed and approved by the commissioning company between August 1st 2020 and August 10th 2021, the final day of the entry period.

The final entry deadline to enter work is this coming Tuesday, August 10th, at midnight BST. All work must be registered and uploaded by that time.

The first round of judging for this year’s UKMVAs begins approximately a week after the entry deadline – invitations to Jury Members to participate in the online judging round on the MVA judging platform have been sent out in the past few days.

With the second round of judging scheduled for next month, all nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2021 will be announced in late September - with the ceremony and aftershow party returning to the legendary Roundhouse on Thursday, November 4th 2021.
