As the period of entry for UKMVAs 2021 enters its final couple of weeks, Studio RM have become the latest company to partner with the awards, sponsoring the award for Best Post Production Company - their first year as a sponsor of the UK Music Video Awards.

Studio RM is a creative studio specialising in colour grading and post production, based in London and New York. Launched in 2010, the studio offers a high-end, artistic and curated approach that has attracted directors and artists across fashion and music, including The XX, Charlotte Lawrence, Sam Smith and Biffy Clyro.

Studio RM's sponsorship of the Best Post Production Company category at this year's UKMVAs coincides with the completion of the full refurbishment of the studio's premises in London, and the recent appointment of Camilla Bateman, previously at MPC, as their Director of Client Services and a new roster of colourists, led by senior colourist Jamie Noble.

The airy, bright space - situated in the De Beauvoir district - accommodates purpose-built colour grading suites with cutting-edge equipment, real-time remote capabilities and breakout areas for both clients and team members.

“We’re excited to be partnering with the UK Music Video Awards for the first time this year alongside some of London’s leading post production agencies," says Robert Moore, Studio RM's founder.

"Music videos offer a unique opportunity for artists to collaborate in new and exciting ways, to test and explore daring methods and ideas in post production. As a company whose ethos is about always discovering and supporting new talent, Studio RM is proud to help shine a spotlight on extraordinary artists and acknowledge their hard work and dedication.”

Entry is now open to the Best Post Production Company award, together with 37 other categories covering technical achievement, video by music genre, and individual and company categories, via the UK Music Video Awards website.

The full range of categories to be found at the UKMVA website, and entries to the awards are now being accepted on the website here and here. The deadline for entries is at midnight (BST) on Tuesday, August 3rd.

That will be followed by two rounds of judging in most categories, with an announcement of nominations in late September. And the UK Music Video Awards ceremony will return to the legendary Roundhouse in London on Thursday, November 4th 2021.
