Top international content creation studio The Mill is sponsoring the new Best Special Video Projects award at this year's UK Music Video Awards.

It's the fifth year in succession that The Mill has been a partner of the UK Music Video Awards, and they become the inaugural sponsor of a new award at this year's UKMVAs. And once again, The Mill's HQ in Fitzrovia will be the venue for both judging sessions and also the UKMVAs nominations party, when all the nominations for the year's awards are announced, in late September.

The Mill is consistently recognized by peers and clients for delivering outstanding work and has earned the most prestigious industry awards, including the Best VFX in a Video award at the 2016 UKMVAs for their work on the Chemical Brothers' Wide Open video.

This year's introduction of the Special Video Projects award means that the The Mill is supporting an award that will celebrate the variety of music visual creativity from extended music videos featuring a number of tracks by an artist, to VR projects. The UKMVAs is now accepting entries to this and over 30 other awards for this year's event in October. The deadline for entries is in just over two weeks from today (July 19), at midnight BST, on August 2nd 2019.

Once the entry deadline has passed, judging will begin for this year's UK Music Video Awards. The nominations for this year's UKMVAs will be announced at The Mill in late September. And the awards ceremony itself will take place about a month later, at the legendary Roundhouse in London on Wednesday, October 23rd.
