Luke Monaghan, formerly one half of the directing duo Luke + Barber, has joined Rokkit for music videos and commercials.
Luke Monaghan, formerly one half of the directing duo Luke + Barber, has joined Rokkit for music videos and commercials. He also directed a short doc on boxer Carl Froch, and Luke has also worked extensively with A$AP Rocky (above), capturing the Harlem rapper's meteoric rise to fame in the form of the music video for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2012/08/17/aap-rocky-purple-kisses-by-luke-monaghan-and-aap-rocky/" target="_blank">Purple Kisses</a>, and also a documentary for Channel 4. Luke has received press coverage in British GQ (where he is a listed contributor), i-D, Dazed & Confused and Hypebeast, amongst others. As well as directing music videos, short films and documentaries Luke has also moved into the commercial field. Working with Nike, Adidas, Casio and most recently online retail giants ASOS to direct all of the video content for their women's A/W 12/13 campaign featuring Azealia Banks and supermodel Charlotte Free.
