Then he evolved to chipping away at concrete, and experimenting using acids - his work appeared alongside Banksy at the Cans Festival in London in 2008, and he works all over the world. Now Vhils has moved on to a completely new new way of creating his images, using explosives - as demonstrated here in glorious slo-mo.
