Encyclopedia Pictura's video for Bjork's Wanderlust is the biggest frontrunner for honours at the 2009 D&AD Awards among a healthy list of music videos nominated for prizes this year in several categories, with several more listed In Book.

Bjork's Wanderlust has three nominations, in the music video category, art direction and special effects, while Chris Milk's video for Gnarls Barkley's Who's Gonna Save My Soul is up for two awards - for music video and animation. There are also nominations for Martin De Thurah's promo for Will Young's Changes in cinematography, and Frater's clip for Ladyhawke's My Delirium in animation. Furthermore, James Frost's Radiohead clip for House Of Cards, Dougal Wilson's Goldfrapp video for Happiness and Up The Resolution's video for Cinematic Orchestra's To Build A Home, are all nominated in the music video category. Among the those commended in book in the music video category are Kim Gehrig's lipdub-inspired video for Wiley's Cash In My Pocket and Martin De Thurah's Will Young video once more. And three videos by Nima Nourizadeh were also commended: Hot Chip's Ready For The Floor and Santogold's L.E.S. Artistes for art direction, and Flight Of The Conchords' Ladies Of The World in the music video category.
