Singer-songwriter Steve Kopandy's epic ballad Avalanche gets a suitably spectacular video directed and shot by Frank Niewenhuis.

The premise is simple: Kopandy runs through the vast landscapes, over mountains and through rivers - it's a feat of endurance and we can only guess at its purpose. Where is he heading, what is he looking for? His journey is indispersed with some remarkable aerial landscape shots that you can only find in the wilds of Iceland.

Kopandy is clearly very happy with the results - even if it meant him wading through icy waters, and finally falling into the sea. "I shot this video in Iceland last month with brilliant director Frank Niewenhuis," he says. "The scenery is the star but I hope you like the music as well. This is a true labour of love for me and I am so pleased with the result.. I just hope more and more people can hear the song and see the video. Thank you!"
