James&James latest video for Brighton-based American/Belgian producer/singer Speelburg takes us to a trailer park where some very odd things are going down.

Things start to go a bit pear-shaped when Speelburg's double shows up. Then his pregnant girlfriend goes into labour, and that Triumph Herald is never going to get her to the hospital before she gives birth.... to another, more feral version of Speelburg.

It's all delivered with skewed cinematic atmosphere and a bonkers energy, largely emanating from the charismatic Speelburg who says that some inspiration came from him reading a tweet. "When they asked me what I wanted to do for the video, I took a minute to think about it…and then I got distracted and read this tweet by a dude who got super baked, saying: 'What if when we die the light at the end of the tunnel is the light to another hospital room, there we are born and the only reason you come out crying is because you remember everything from your past life... ' I'm not saying that I was gonna make the music video version of a stoner's tweet, but you know…could be cool, right?

"The result is a low-budget sci-fi/horror short movie that looks like a cross between a Gregory Crewdson picture come to life and It Follows. Because the song deals with this battle and acceptance of your alter-ego, I knew I wanted there to be a few different versions of me. Also, I knew my girlfriend had to give birth to me at the climax of the song because really, the main thing I wanted was for this video to look super weird and gross."
