Fangclub 'Dreamcatcher' by Finn Keenan

Fangclub 'Dreamcatcher' by Finn Keenan

Enter the dizzying world of someone else's dreams courtesy of Fangclub and Finn Keenan.

Set in a corridor in which dreams manifest themselves from the adjacent rooms, we're forced to try and make sense of the impossible. With erratic camera movements swimming in and out of focus, it's a distressing thing to try and take in. Tricks of scale and forced perspective added to the mix certainly enhance this state of confusion and what Keenan leaves us with here is a stream-of-conscious collage of scenes that seem to eat themselves. In other words, it's a perfect accompaniment to the track.

From the director

FINN KEENAN:

"The video is based on dreams the lead singer, Steven, was having around the time of being signed. We decided to take these dreams and throw them into a Barton Fink-esque world and see what happened!

"We built three sets. A full size, a half size and a miniature, and just spent the day messing about in them. Not a bad old way to spend an evening!"
