It's a very long time since Madness started mucking around in their music videos. And they are still doing it, as this proves - with just as much dressing up, but none of the flying around on wires.

The video for Can't Touch Us Now, the title track from their latest album, reflects their latterday fascination with Music Hall - perhaps the music video of its day. But animation company Bolder Creative also drops them into animated environments: a cut and paste version of London's landmarks old and new.

Using bespoke vintage Victorian etchings and illustrations to compliment the album campaign, you could definitely describe the effect as Pythonesque. The influence of Terry Gilliam's animations just goes on and on...
