British advertising body Creative Circle has added a new Music Video section shortly before the deadline of its 2018 awards show.
The Music Video section contains eight categories which will decided by a jury of music video professionals headed up by Sony’s VP of Creative Mike O’Keefe. Those categories are:
Best Music Promo Film
Best Live/Concert Film
Best Music Video Editing
Best Music Video Cinematography
Best Music Video Animation
Best Music Video Visual Effects
Best Music Video Choreography
Best Achievement in Music Video Production
In addition to Mike O’Keefe (above, middle row, second left), the jury also includes Martin Roker (Black Dog Films), Luke Tierney (Friend), Otis Bell (OB Management), Natalie Arnett (Riff Raff Films), Rik Green (Pulse Films), Emily Rudge (Iconoclast), Daniella Manca (Caviar), Jane Third (Pias), Sian Rogers (SIREN), Semera Khan (Polydor), and Sam Seager (Warner).
Currently headed by Grey London’s Joint Chief Creative Officer, Vicki Maguire, The Creative Circle is the oldest awards body in British advertising. It and pledges 10% of all award entry fees and 100% of membership fees to support greater diversity in the creative departments of the future through the Creative Circle Foundation. The entry deadline is currently February 8th 2018.
