Radar expands service with "one-stop commissioning"

Radar expands service with "one-stop commissioning"

Promo News - 19th Dec 2016

Radar Music Videos has become Radar Music Creatives, expanding its remit to offer a new ‘one-stop’ music content commissioning service just launched, creating opportunities on the Radar platform for more creatives, from illustrators to graphic designers, gif makers to website designers.

Up to now, Radar has been a way for labels, managers and artists to commission music videos, making their music video briefs available to their network of member directors. Now with the expanded service, music professionals will also be able to commission the range of creative content required for their marketing campaigns, including album art, tour posters, gifs, stage visuals, 360 videos and artist websites.

“As fan platforms continue to proliferate, record labels, managers and artists in our network have an increasing need for visual content - so we’re expanding to meet that need,” says Radar MD Caroline Bottomley. “We’re scouting up and coming, talented content creators worldwide, with the same promise we make to talented directors - we’ll help you build your portfolio and we’ll help you reach the next stage of your career.”

Various established directors made their breakthrough work with videos commissioned via Radar. The latest alumni that have prospered include Rafe Jennings, who recently won a Best Newcomer Award at the UKMVAs for his Radar-commissioned video for Will Joseph Cook's Take Me Dancing, and Nicholas Lam, who's video for Blink 182's She's Out Of Her Mind has over 5 million hits on YouTube.
