MusicVidFest 2016: The Producers' Panel

Promo News - 3rd Nov 2016

The third annual MusicVidFest – the all-day conference about the business of music video creativity which takes place at the BFI Southbank on Wednesday November 9th – includes a panel all about producing music videos, featuring some of the most experienced executive producers, producers and freelancers working in the British music video-making community.

The panel will include Liz Kessler, head of music videos at A+; Katie Lambert, head of video at Agile Films; Sasha Nathwani, executive producer, director and co-founder of FAMILIA; and Drew O'Neill, producer at Bullion Productions.

The panellists will discuss the process of how music videos get made right now, their own best and worst experiences, and where the tried-and-tested system of music video production needs improving. It promises to be an intriguing discussion - moderated by Promonews's Luke Bather.

The Producer's Panel is one of a whole day of panels and talks by some of the leading professionals working in music video production. The day starts with top director Ninian Doff giving an insight into his working methods, continues with WPA London MD Barnaby Laws giving the keynote address at this year's MusicVidFest, followed by a forensic look at the making of their award winning video for Chemical Brothers' Wide Open by directing team Dom & Nic and The MIll ECD Neil Davies.

A programme of the day's events at this year's MusicVidFest - supported by Procam and giffgaff - is now available, together with information on booking a delegate pass.
